¥1,500 (incl. tax)
The dwarf pomegranate is a deciduous shrub native to Asia that grows to only about 1 meter tall. It produces smaller flowers than a regular pomegranate. The pretty, abundant flowers are sure to bring a smile as they wrap you in a peaceful ambiance.
<Tips for growing dwarf pomegranates>
Dwarf pomegranates prefer full sun. They need protection in winter in colder or frosty areas as they are slightly sensitive to cold. Avoid dryness, especially in summer. Water as necessary before the soil becomes dry.
Prepare well-drained soil to avoid excessive moisture, which can cause root rot. Water when the topsoil is dry. Water the whole shrub not directly to the base so that the water reaches the end of the roots.
Prune regularly to inhibit the shrub’s growth and maintain a small, healthy form, especially during dormancy and after flowering.
