Found from the main island of Honshu down to the Kyushu region. The first half of the plant’s Japanese common name, Yakushima, is the name of an island in southwest Japan, and is often used for smaller varieties.
We recommend giving this plant a try as it is relatively easy to grow even for a Japanese bush clover.
