Astilbe simplicifolia (Hitotsu-ba shouma)
¥900 (incl. tax)
Found along the valleys in the Kanto region of central Japan.
The plant has one leaf to a leaf stem, which is the origin of the first half of the plant’s Japanese common name, hitotsu-ba, meaning “a single leaf.” Produces umbels of delicate, tiny flowers reminiscent of stardust.
