Dracocephalum argunense (Whie dragon’s head, shirobana musha rindo)

¥1,000 (incl. tax)

A perennial of the family Lamiaceae.

Produces white flowers that resemble those of rindo (Gentiana scabra, or Japanese gentian).

It is said to have been named Musa (later altered to “musha”) because it was discovered in an area called Musa in Shiga Prefecture on the main island of Honshu.

However, the origin of the name remains unclear as the plant does not grow wild in that area.
