Geum pentapetalum (Aleutian avens, chinguruma)
¥1,650 (incl.tax)
A small deciduous shrub in the genus Geum of the family Rosaceae.
Distributed across central Honshu, and north to Hokkaido, the Kurile Islands, and Sakhalin. At higher latitudes, these plants also grow in low-lying areas, but generally, this species is an alpine plant that grows in damp grasslands.
As they cannot withstand the summer heat on Honshu, these plants should be planted in pots rather than in the ground, which would require much care.
*Currently shedding leaves. New buds will appear in spring.
