Yakushima waremoko prefers full sun.

The plant will produce most beautiful flowers when grown in bright environment.

The soil should be well-drained and rich.

Poorly draining soil can cause root rot.

It is important not to water too much so as to keep the soil slightly dry.

Water when the topsoil becomes dry.

After flowering, cut back the flower stalks,

to allow the plant to store energy for the next flowering season.
