Cerasus ‘Keio-zakura’ (Cherry ‘Keio-zakura’)
¥1,100 (incl. tax)
A cherry tree named after Keitaro Yoshinaga, who created this variety in Kurume City, Fukuoka prefecture in south-west Japan, by grafting kohigan-zakura (Prunus x subhirtella, or winter-flowering cherry) onto shinami-zakura (Cerasus pseudo-cerasus, or Chinese sour cherry).
Branches form a tree shape rather than spreading widely. Produces numerous flowers on multi-branched stems.
