An evergreen dwarf shrub of the family Rosaceae. A highly popular sanyaso wildflower that is used for bonsai.
Called kamatsuka kokemomo in Japan as its leaf form resembles that of kokemomo, or lingonberries.
Produces dainty white flowers in spring that turn into bright red berries in autumn. This plant can be enjoyed throughout the year.
