A perennial of the Liliaceae, or lily family, that is beloved for its dainty and neat beauty. This variety grows wild throughout the country. It produces pure white flowers.
Tips for growing white toad lilies
White toad lilies prefer partial to full shade. Well-ventilated areas out of direct sunlight are best. Prepare well-drained soil, and water well to prevent the soil from drying out, especially during the flowering period when lack of water can damage the plant.
Applying the correct amount of fertilizer during the growing season will encourage flowering and healthy growth of the plant. An organic fertilizer is recommended. After flowering, cut back the stems to encourage flower buds in the next flowering season. And remove dead parts and unwanted leaves to keep the plant healthy.
